The Sigler Foundation was founded to provide support for educational programs with a focus on programs that provide services to public and non-profit agencies. A second focus will provide financial support to students who intend to pursue a career in public service or in the non-profit sector. Once sufficient funds are available, support will be available for the following types of projects:
- Support for faculty sabbaticals when the faculty member plans to devote a substantial portion of the sabbatical to providing service to a private non-profit or public organization.
- Support for student internships when the student will devote a substantial portion of the internship to providing service to a private non-profit or public organization.
- Support for students who are preparing themselves for careers in public service or in the private non-profit sector.
